What is included in our

Electronic Assembly services

Marking: This involves the use of a CO2 marking laser to engrave unique QR codes on all our printed circuit boards. The reason for this is to aid with both traceability and quality control.

Pick and Place: This is the process of placing the components onto the board. It can be done manually with tweezers or by the use of a PNP (pick and place machine). Our staff are experienced in manual pick and place and also in the use of PNP machines for larger runs.

Reflow: After the pick-and-place process, the solder paste must be reflowed to form a strong solder joint. The boards are placed on a conveyor belt that slowly moves them through a large oven. Inside the oven, the boards are gradually exposed to high temperatures, reaching around 250°C, which is enough to melt the solder. As the boards pass through the oven, they go through various temperature zones, ensuring they heat up and cool down at a controlled pace.

Manual Soldering: If required our team has the skills to manually solder plated through the hole components. Our team ensures that all wiring is properly installed and soldered to guarantee our clients receive boards of the highest quality.

Inspection: Using state of the art AOI machinery our team our team inspects all products ensuring a consistent level of quality across the entire electronics assembly process.

Washing: During the manufacturing process a certain amount of residue will be left on the board. This is usually flux which over time would not only affect the appearance of the board but can become acidic causing the solder joints to weaken. To prevent this and to ensure the boards we supply to our customers look and perform as they should, every board goes through a washing process.

Testing: Testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
