Wiring Harness Manufacturing
Our wire harness manufacture service is complementary to our electronics and PCB services, usually customers require wiring harnesses to go with their control units. Wiring can sometimes be quite complex, and care is needed to select the right connectors and wire gauges to suit signals and loads. We offer full drawings and design service, including routing design to ensure your interconnects are right for the application.
To make our wire harnessing manufacturing as efficient as possible, we have made a significant investment in automation to help streamline a process that is traditionally labour intensive. By investing in automatic cutting, stripping and terminating machines, a large number of terminal applicators, bench top presses and cutting machines to work in conjunction with traditional hand tools our service has become much quicker and efficient. Additionally, all our wiring assemblies are automatically tested to ensure correct connections, with full batch traceability through product labelling.
We use ECAD to manage all our customer and in-house designs with version control and accurate bills of material. We use several suppliers for components and maintain stock levels to cope with peaks and troughs in components availability whilst ensuring low costs.
